This event will probably be most relevant to PhD/PsyD students in clinical, counseling, or school psychology programs who are about to start the internship application process.\n\nPlease complete the quick and easy registration for this free event. We will then send registrants the link to join us via Zoom Webinar.\n\n\nProgram Description:  Internships 101 FREE Webinar about the APPIC internship Application Process\nDuring this virtual event, participants will hear about the personal experiences of Indiana clinical and counseling psychology doctoral students who have gone through the APPICA internship application process and successfully matched. This event will be presented in a moderated panel format, also featuring the expertise of Dr. Anna Merrill of Indiana University. \n\nModerator:  Sydney Majka, IPA Student Committee Chair\nSydney Majka, B.A. is currently a third-year doctoral student in Ball State University's Counseling Psychology Ph.D program, and serves as the chair of the IPA Student Committee. Sydney completed a masters degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Ball State University in 2023, and her undergraduate degree in Psychology at DePauw University in 2021. Currently, Sydney 's research and clinical interests are focused on neurodiverse populations. She is completing an external practicum placement conducting autism assessments with children, and her dissertation will focus on the changes in the diagnostic criteria for ASD that occurred from DSM 4 to DSM 5.
