President's Greeting

Dr. Shannon Woller

We hope the summer has been good for each of you and that you enjoyed some relaxation time.

Thank you and congratulations to Jill Fodstad who has been elected to serve another term as our IPA representative to the APA Council of Representatives. Her commitment and watchful eye are very appreciated by all of us at IPA. Thank you Jill!

Planning for our annual Fall Conference is well underway. The Committee is reviewing a dozen presentation proposals. This turnout confirms another strong agenda for our conference. Plan your calendars now so you can attend.

If you would like some additional recognition with our fellow members, the Fall Conference provides that opportunity. Sponsorship of our Conference will be available again this year. So, think about the recognition the Conference can bring to your practice.

As we always remind you -  IPA is here for you. It is your professional organization to support your career. We do our best to provide professional resources to help you. We welcome your comments and suggestions.

Enjoy the remaining warm summer sunshine.

Be well,
Shannon

  • Keldyn Young, Student Member, Ball State

2026 IPA Representative to the APA Council of Representatives

Congratulations and gratitude are also extended to IPA's Jill Fodstad who was recently re-elected to a second 3-year term as IPA's representative to the APA Council. Jill has served in this capacity since 2023. In this capacity Jill uses this forum to keep IPA members informed of important issues coming up for a vote and decisions that are made by Council that affect Indiana psychologists. She welcomes all input from IPA members about issues that will be coming before the council, as well as feedback about information you would like to have regarding the council. Jill regularly shares updates for members that can be found on the IPA website APA Council Corner page. If you have questions or comments for Dr. Fodstad, please send them to jfodstad@iu.edu.
