Post-Doctoral Fellowship Program in Clinical Health Psychology

Indiana University School of Medicine is now accepting applications for a one year Psychology Post-Doctoral Fellowship in Clinical Health Psychology. The purpose of the fellowship program is to train Clinical Health Psychologists with a specialty in serving the diverse and complex population of medically ill patients treated at Indiana University Methodist Hospital and the Advanced Heart and Lung Care Clinic, which serve individuals across the state of Indiana and beyond. The clinical health psychology training in this program has an emphasis in cardiac-pulmonary behavioral medicine and transplant psychology.  Fellows will have the opportunity to train in both outpatient and medical inpatient settings conducting both evaluation and intervention services. Pre-transplant evaluations, individual psychotherapy, consultation-liaison services, and group therapy interventions are part of the clinical protocol.  As part of the transplant program at IU Health, the fellow may have the opportunity to do a specialty rotation in abdominal/solid organ transplant at Indiana University Hospital.   In addition to these clinical experiences, fellows will also be involved in additional research experiences, as well as clinical supervision of pre-doctoral psychology interns or psychology practicum students. Opportunities for fellows to teach or supervise with the Indiana University School of Medicine may be part of the training experience.
All interviews may be held virtually.
